...and with Stars

As members of The Mandala Group have designed and made a unique Christmas mandala to go on a card each year for a few years now, essentially, ...and with Stars are Christmas themed designs.  Below you can see all the ones we've done, to date.  If you look a little closer you will be able to see tiny details, such as Christmas bells, holly and greenery, trees, candles, crackers, angels, crowns and all sorts of stars. 



Christmas Mandala 1: Twelve points of Christmas, Copyright The Mandala Group, 2008.


A twelve pointed star radiates out from the middle of this mandala. This was the first Christmas one to be designed by the group together and at one meeting.

Christmas Mandala 2: Crown of Crowns, Copyright The Mandala Group, 2009


This mandala shows a five pointed star with crowns and Christmas greenery.

Another five pointed star, this time with hearts inside and out, is displaying some of the Christmassy colours.

A seven pointed star is surrounded by lotus flower petals with stained glass effects, while the black star dusted background shows all the colours.

This includes the usual stars, but instead of a general Christmas 'free for all', there is a more specific theme.  By using the first line of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' tune; as you can see a partridge is perching in its pear tree!
